Welcome to the wonderful world of PhotoReading!

Thank you for your commitment to attend the PhotoReading course. You are about to experience a very exciting application of accelerated learning.

Our objective is to help you get your reading done in the time you have at the comprehension level you need. "Mentally photographing" the printed page is only one feature of this course. When you learn to tap into more of your whole mind, reading becomes delightful and learning becomes an adventure.

Clear your time in advance.

Each part of the course builds upon previous sessions. None can be missed without interfering with the process and its intended results. If you have engagements or priorities that prevent your participation in the entire course, it must be discussed with your instructor. Plan to be well-rested for the weekend.

Please be on time!

It has been our experience that people who miss the first few exercises of any session miss critical information. As we want you to have the best experience possible, please arrive with time to settle in before the class. Arrive at least fifteen minutes early for the first session. Please allow time consideration as Atlanta has heavy morning traffic and construction on the nearby highways.

Dress

in casual, comfortable, loose clothing. Layers are always a good idea.

Optional

You may wish to bring your own sketch pad and coloring pens for capturing all of your mind maps in one place. All other materials will be provided.

A 60 minute lunch break will be provided on Saturday and Sunday

There are inexpensive restaurants near the hotel. Feel free to bring a bag lunch and your own comfort food. Light snacks will be offered throughout the day.

There is no homework, although we encourage "homeplay" between the sessions.

You will be asked to listen to relaxation audio MP3 outside of classroom time. You will receive some advanced videos to accelerate your experience, including documents, and the PhotoReading Activator MP3 in advance. We ask that you load the audio files into your preferred listening device or program such as iTunes. In addition, we encourage you find time to PhotoRead books in the evening after each session. People who have received the greatest value from the course have had fun PhotoReading everything they can get their hands on.

Bring to class

One or two nonfiction, non-technical books (no novels), that you have not read but would like to read. (Self-help, or how to books, based on your areas of interest. etc.) Millicent provides a variety of books we will PhotoRead and activate together so as to learn the protocols together on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday you will progress to PhotoReading your own books.
